The Lord awoke me this morning at 4:45 and spoke sweetly,”Child of love.”

Along with this scripture:

“Do not be misled, my beloved brethren.
Every good gift and every perfect (free, large, full) gift is from above; it comes down from the Father of all [that gives] light, in [the shining of] Whom there can be no variation [rising or setting] or shadow cast by His turning [as in an eclipse]. And it was of His own [free] will that He gave us birth [as sons] by [His] Word of Truth, so that we should be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures [a sample of what He created to be consecrated to Himself].
Understand [this], my beloved brethren.”–James 1:16-19a

So I found a notecard and along with the scripture I wrote: “The Holy Spirit says I am a child of love.”

But how often does the Lord say to us this very thing.  I believe continually.  Yet sometimes it takes Him waking us up in the wee hours of the morning to get us with our minds cleared from the clutter of this world and reveal His steadfast love to us.  Let us stop more often to listen to the whisperings of our Father.
