ok, so I  think it would probably do greater justice to my personal posts if i do not read everyone else’s before I write.

…so today while preparing to leave my house I was listening to an Adam’s Lament cd (if you’ve ever heard of them you would probably attest to the intimate worship they inspire) when while listening to it the question popped up in my mind:

What was adam’s lament?

and as I thought the answer came:

The loss of intimate fellowship with God.

As i thought more i recalled sermons I’ve heard of how deeply depressed adam was after leaving the garden of God.

This all really stirred my heart because the more I thought about it the Lord began to show me that even though adam may have lamented some yet He lamented all the more.

God was not surprised at all by man’s fall but loved man so much that He would stop at nothing short of sending His Son for man’s redemption.

Glory be to God!!

“For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten ([James Moulton and George Milligan, The Vocabulary.] unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.”-John3:16 amp
