Things around our house have once again begun to take on a regular pace. Please continue to lift up our family as there are so many more things intricately connected into all of this than I am able to now go into. I am grateful to God for all of the things that He has so faithfully brought us through. Although there have been things that in the natural take on the appearance of tragedy I know that because of Jesus the loss though seemingly great will be worked out by our loving God for good and for His Glory.

“For all [these] things are [taking place] for your sake, so that the more grace (divine favor and spiritual blessing) extends to more and more people and multiplies through the many, the more thanksgiving may increase [and redound] to the glory of God.Therefore we do not become discouraged (utterly spiritless, exhausted, and wearied out through fear). Though our outer man is [progressively] decaying and wasting away, yet our inner self is being [progressively] renewed day after day. For our light, momentary affliction (this slight distress of the passing hour) is ever more and more abundantly preparing and producing and achieving for us an everlasting weight of glory [beyond all measure, excessively surpassing all comparisons and all calculations, a vast and transcendent glory and blessedness never to cease!], Since we consider and look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporal (brief and fleeting), but the things that are invisible are deathless and everlasting.”- II Cor 4:16-18

This is what’s stable-what’s unshakeable. God is working this thing and all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Through prayers and tears and shakings He remains the same.

As I go back to the day before any of this shaking began to occour I can remember it as clear as day:

It was a friday morning and the Lord awoke me with a song on my heart (check Dec. 6th entry) and as I opened my bible for devotional reading it opened immediately to Haggai 2. I’m not sure if the sixth verse was the one my eyes fell upon immediately but I do know that this sixth verse was the was that I knew the Lord was speaking to me through. It was the one that matched the song in my heart.

“For thus says the Lord of hosts: Yet once more, in a little while, I will shake and make tremble the [starry] heavens, the earth, the sea, and the dry land;”-Hag. 2:6

As time progressed I could see that the Lord had in His graciousness preparing my heart for the thing that was soon to come.

Yet that was not the complete word of prohecy to me but there yet remains the promise that God has for us in verse seven (seven being the number for spiritual perfection). This was the promise:

“And I will shake all nations and the desire and the precious things of all nations shall come in, and I will fill this house with splendor, says the Lord of hosts.”-Hag. 2:7

“..and I will fill this house with splendor, says the Lord of hosts.”

I have a right to believe this and no devil can tell me God won’t do it. I do. I know He will.

Salvation is here!
