Tonight two songs with similar thoughts come to me as I lay upon my bed. Song #1 – You know me, Steffany Frizzell (from which the quote on the picture comes)Song #2 – Everything, Fred HammondThe lyrics of the second contain this, "My start, my nowMy close, my endThe Lover of my soul, my friendOh Lord You are my everythingMy Father, GodMy Lord and King"Such beauty, sometimes I can get so hung up on things past that I forget that Jesus is my start, my now, my close, my end.Nothing can compare to the plans and love that he has for His own. As David said, "… in Your book all the days [of my life] were written before ever they took shape, when as yet there was none of them." ( Ps. 139:16 AMP)There is no comparable security found in anything else… Not money and possessions,Not popularity and people,Nor relationships or romance.. All of it is empty and vain with the Infinite One as the Author at the center of it all. Nothing we can cultivate or contrive can adequately replace the perfection of the plan that He created for is to walk in before time. This plan can only be fulfilled by our lives being daily lived through the One who loved us and gave Himself for us.Jesus Christ.
