One of the passages that always confused me was the passage of scripture where the Savior stated that He would be in the belly of the earth for 3 days and 3 nights.
This never made sense to my American mind because I had not seen this passage from the most important perspective the perspective from which it was written. The entire context of scripture and what is written about the life lived by Jesus is that it is from the culture, practices and customs of a 1st century jew.
In that light and perspective we can see that the saying makes all the sense in the world. The calendar we use in our day is the gregorian calender but the jewish calendar is what the Messiah used and what all scripture is written according to. The graphic attached makes it all make sense.
